Tyson Lama (Arts) at 15, and no. 7 Aj Cummings (Arts) scoring 14. After last nights physical game with the Carleton Raven's, the Gaels starting lineup was without no. 15

Ollie Engen (Con-Ed) who are crucial players for the Gaels offensive play. The Gaels put up a strong fight against the Gee-Gees, unfortunately it was not enough to find a win at the end of 40 minutes. Being the final game of the regular season, the Queen's Gaels honoured their graduating seniors in the annual Senior Day. This evening the Gaels honoured the players no. 13

The first quarter saw an offensive burst with both teams attempting to take an early break-away. Gaels no. 9
Aaron Tennant (Law) carried the first with six points. Although the Gaels led rebounds 15-13, the boys could not get past the pressure of the Gee-Gees defense at the hoop. The first quarter saw the Gaels fall 32-20 and the Gee-Gees pulling away into a 12 point lead.
The Gaels entered the second with with not much more luck in finding a way to dominate the Gee-Gees. The Gee-Gees went on an offensive run that would not be slowed until the third quarter. No. 7 Aj Cummings (Arts) led the Gaels in points putting up six for the Gaels, followed by no. 10
Lucas Ponting (Commerce) who scored 5. The Gee-Gees continued their offensive expedition with fifteen rebounds to the Gaels seven. The first half of the game concluded with the Gee-Gees leading 60-39 over the Gaels.
The Gaels came back after a halftime in the locker room with something new from the past 20 minutes of game play as they began to find the hoop in high pressure plays against the Gee-Gees slowly chipping away at their lead. Syllas boomed in the third putting up 9 points for the Gaels, followed by Lama with 8. In the midst of the absence of Engen and Krueger, Lama stepped up in this game by giving the Gaels an offensive pressure against the Gee-Gees, building back a stride in the third. The Gaels finished the third quarter successfully chasing the Gee-Gees lead coming back within four points, 68-64.
The final quarter was a battle until the final seconds for the Gaels as they attempted to beat out the Gee-Gees offense, coming as close as two points behind in the final 2 minutes. Lama and Syllas led the Gaels with seven points each in the fourth. The Gaels fight can be seen from the 13 rebounds against the Gee-Gees seven. The game ended after numerous offensive attempts by the Gaes with the score of 89-84.
