The Queen's Gaels Men's Basketball team put up a strong fight against the Carleton Ravens on Friday, November 7, but fell 78-86 in a tightly contested game. The Gaels showcased resilience and offensive strength, keeping the game close against one of the league's toughest opponents.
Leading the Gaels was
Ollie Engen (Kinesiology), who delivered an impressive 28-point performance, demonstrating his scoring ability.
Tyson Lama (Commerce) added 15 points, including four three-pointers, while
Kai Dalen (Arts) contributed 8 points, providing key offensive support
The Gaels kept pace with Carleton throughout the first half, finishing the opening quarter down 18-25 and narrowing the gap to 42-47 by halftime. In the third quarter, the Gaels continued to push, but Carleton maintained a 67-55 advantage heading into the final frame. Despite a late surge from the Gaels, the Ravens held on to take the win 78-86.
The Gaels will look to bounce back on the road when they face the Laurentian Voyageurs on Friday, November 14.
