Queen's Women's Volleyball opened their weekend slate of games with a straight sets win over the host York Lions Friday night in North York, Ont.
Abigail MacAlpine (Arts & Science) had a big game for the Gaels in the win, leading the team in kills (13), blocks (four), and digs (16), which were all game-highs.
Claire Carter (Business) was also strong for Queen's in the win with eight kills and four aces while
Kennedy Millin (Education) recorded a game-high 27 assists.
With the victory, the Gaels improved their record to 4-3 on the season. Queen's will close out their weekend road trip tomorrow night against the Lions at 4 p.m.
