Queen's Women's Rugby cap sixth straight undefeated regular season with road win over McMaster

Queen's Women's Rugby capped their sixth straight undefeated regular season with a big 89-0 win over the McMaster Marauders Saturday in Hamilton, Ont.

The shutout win improved the No. 1 ranked Gaels' record to 6-0 and earned them a bye into the OUA semifinal.

Mika Matsukubo (Health Sciences) led Queen's in tries with four while Lizzie Gibson (Arts & Science) continued an outstanding season with three tries and seven conversions for 29 points.

Kennedi Stevenson (Arts & Science) also had a strong game with three tries, while Jayne Armatage (Arts & Science), Olivia Dibua (Arts & Science), Jiggy Schonfeld (Kinesiology), Michaela Cormier (Education), and Robyn Baker (Arts & Science) each added one try apiece.

Queen's Women's Rugby will host the OUA semifinal at Nixon Field on the weekend of Saturday, Oct. 18.
