BOX SCORE Queen's Women's Basketball fell to the Carleton Ravens 74-40 in their semifinals match at the U SPORTS Women's Final 8 Basketball Championship Saturday night in Edmonton, Alta.
The No. 2 seed Ravens jumped out to a nine-point lead after the first quarter and held on the rest of the way, on their way to the win.
Julia Chadwick (Ottawa, Ont.) led the way for Queen's, scoring 14 points and adding 10 rebounds in the national championship semifinal.
The No. 6 seed Gaels will close out the U SPORTS Women's Final 8 Basketball Championship taking on the Laval Rouge et Or in the bronze medal game. Queen's will face No. 4 seed Laval for a medal Sunday at 7 p.m. ET. Catch all the action live on
