Queen's Men's Hockey lost 4-2 to the Laurier Golden Hawks Saturday night in Waterloo, Ont.
After trading goals in the first period, the Golden Hawks scored two goals early in the third period. Queen's got one back but Laurier would restore their two-goal lead late in the frame and hold on for the win.
Nolan Hutcheson (Kingston, Ont.) and
Jacob Paquette (Ottawa, Ont.) scored for the Gaels with
Jonathan Yantsis (Markham, Ont.) assisting on both goals.
The win snapped Queen's six-game winning streak and dropped their record to 17-8-1-0. The Gaels are back on the ice Thursday, taking on their cross-town rivals, the RMC Paladins, in the Carr-Harris Challenge Cup, 7:30 p.m. at the Leon's Centre.
