Queen's Women's Hockey fell 6-2 to the Nipissing Lakers Saturday in North Bay, Ont.
Logan Biggs (Kinesiology) opened the scoring for Queen's on a first period goal assisted by
Sarah Campbell (Law) and
Mikayla Cranney (Arts & Science) before the Lakers scored five straight goals.Â
The Gaels would get one back late in the second period when
Alyson Reeves (Commerce) found the back of the net on a goal assisted by
Sophie Hudson (Chemical Engineering) and
Kelsey Dunn (Kinesiology).Â
Nipissing scored the lone goal in the third period to finish with a four-goal victory.
With the loss, Queen's record fell to 3-9-0-1 on the season. The Gaels closed out the first half of the regular season seventh in the OUA East Division standings.
