Gaels win big over Western to advance to OUA Men's Rugby Championship

Queen's Men's Rugby will play for the OUA Championship after defeating the Western Mustangs 57-14 Friday night in London, Ont.

The Gaels were led on offence by Owen Lee (Commerce), who scored two tries in the big win, and Marcus D'Acre (Economics), who finished with five converts.

Queen's also received scoring from Cameron Bubyn (Computer Science), Michael Gyles (Applied Science), Connor Hay (History), Dan Svoboda (Kinesiology), Ben Greenstein (Life Sciences), Oliver Davis (Fine Art), and Jackson Palmer (Health Sciences), who all recorded tries. Greenstein added a convert as well.

With the victory, Queen's advanced to the OUA Men's Rugby Championship, where they will take on the Guelph Gryphons on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.
