Queen's Men's Basketball defeated the TMU Bold 82-73 in a battle of two U SPORTS Top 10 teams Friday night in Toronto, Ont.
The No. 3 ranked Gaels used a massive third quarter, where they outscored the No. 8 ranked Bold 26-8, to help secure the nine-point win.
Cole Syllas (Kingston, Ont.) had a strong performance for Queen's in the win, finishing the game with a game-high 26 points and 12 rebounds for a double-double.
Three other Gaels players scored in double digits in the win, including 
Luka Syllas (Kingston, Ont.) with 14 points, and 
Aaron Tennant (London, Ont.) and 
Isaac Krueger (Guelph, Ont.) with 11 points each.
Fofo Adetogun (Regina, Sask.) recorded a game-high 14 rebounds off the bench for Queen's.
The Gaels dominated down low in the win, outscoring TMU in the paint 42-14.
With the win, Queen's improved their record to 11-3, while TMU's record fell to 8-6 with the loss. The Gaels close out their weekend road trip in Toronto against the Toronto Varsity Blues Saturday night at 8 p.m.
