Queen's Women's Soccer win big on the road against Trent

BOX SCORE Queen's Women's Soccer remained undefeated after beating the Trent Excalibur 4-1 in Peterborough, Ont. Saturday. 

In the 11th minute, Trent were able to get on a breakaway and score. Queen's would come back strong with some incredible shots on net. In the 31st minute, the Gaels would make a fantastic play in the box, allowing #9 Marissa Gravel to level the score with a clinical finish.

In the second half, Queen's poured it on. #18 Vita Naihin came in hot in the 67th minute with a long goal that would put Queen's in the lead. Just two minutes later, a corner would create an opportunity for #14 Madinah Assaf to find the back of the net. The fourth goal would be from #11 Mattson Strickler, assisted by Gravel.

Queen's registered 20 shots and 11 corners, compared to Trent's two shots and zero corners. Win the win, the Gaels' record improved to 5-0-0. 

The Gaels are back in action September 23 at 1:00 PM as they take on TMU Bold at Richardson Stadium.
