Queen's Men's Basketball lost a close contest to the Carleton Ravens, 93-86, in the OUA Wilson Cup semifinals Wednesday night in Ottawa, Ont.
It was a back and forth contest for the majority of the game, with no team pulling away by more than a few possessions at any point. The Gaels trailed by just one point heading into the fourth quarter before the Ravens pulled away for the seven-point win.
Cam Bett scored a game-high 28 points in the loss, while
Cole Syllas added 25 points and
Luka Syllas finished with a double-double, recording 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Queen's finished the game shooting 42 per cent from the floor and 46 per cent from three-point range, compared to 45 per cent from the floor and 36 per cent from beyond the arc for the Ravens.
With the loss, the Gaels' OUA Playoffs are over, being eliminated in the semifinals. Queen's is still eligible to make the U SPORTS Final 8 Men's Basketball Championship with an at large berth. The at large berth decision will be announced on Sunday.
