Queen's Men's Basketball defeated the Laurentian Voyageurs 98-62 in their final game of the regular season Saturday night in Sudbury, Ont.
The win means the Gaels finished the regular season with a 17-5 record, the program's best record in the past 50 seasons.
Queen's jumped out to a 12-point lead in the first quarter and wouldn't look back, also outscoring the Voyageurs by double digits in the third quarter.
Six Gaels players scored in double digits led by 
Cole Syllas and 
Scott Jenkins, who poured in a game-high 14 points each.
Cam Bett had 13 points and 
Connor Keefe added 11 points, while 
Brandon Aultman netted 12 points and 
Isaac Krueger scored 10 points, both off the bench. Queen's bench outscored Laurentian's bench 48-18.
The Gaels shot 59 per cent from the floor and 32 per cent from beyond the arc, while holding the Voyageurs to 34 per cent shooting from the floor and 27 per cent from three-point range.
The OUA will release the playoff schedule early next week.
