KINGSTON, Ont. (Nov. 25, 2023) - Queen's Men's Hockey fell to the Western Mustangs 2-1 in overtime Saturday afternoon at the Memorial Centre.

The Gaels opened the scoring midway through the first period when Samuel Marburg found the back of the net on a goal assisted by Dharan Cap and Kolton Cousins.

The Mustangs would even the scoring on the power play late in the second period and after a scoreless third period, Western would win in overtime.

Despite the loss, the Gaels earned three out of four points on their weekend series, with their record moving to 11-4-1.

Queen's will close out the first half of their regular season on the road, visiting the McGill Redbirds and UQTR Patriotes next weekend.
