Queen's Men's Basketball remained undefeated on the season after a 90-73 win over the Nipissing Lakers Saturday night in North Bay, Ont.
Five Gaels players scored in double digits, led by Michael Kelvin, who finished with a game-high 24 points while also adding seven rebounds.
Cole Syllas (Kingston, Ont.) added 15 points,
Luka Syllas (Kingston, Ont.) poured in 13 points,
Malcolm Bailey (Stratford, Ont.) recorded 11 points, and
Fofo Adetogun (Regina, Sask.) finished with 12 points off the bench.
Queen's finished the game shooting 50 per cent from the floor and 35 per cent from three-point range, while holding the Lakers to 36 per cent shooting from the floor and 27 per cent from three-point range.
The Gaels are back in action next weekend with a home-and-home series against the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks, hosting Ontario Tech Friday at 1 p.m. at the Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC) before traveling to Oshawa, Ont. to take on the Ridgebacks on Saturday.
