KINGSTON, Ont. (Oct. 27, 2023) - Queen's Men's Hockey fell to the UQTR Patriots in a 6-2 final at the Memorial Centre, Friday night. The Patriots came out hot in the first period, scoring a goal within the first two minutes of the game. Three minutes later, the Patriots put a second goal in the Gaels' net, putting themselves ahead 2-0. However, Queen's came back and answered both goals in the last four minutes of the first period, heading into the second period with a 2-2 score. Dalton Duhart scored both goals, the first one assisted by Jonathan Yantsis and the second one assisted by Thomas Stevenson.

UQTR came back in the second period, scoring three more goals and putting themselves ahead 5-2. 

Queen's went into the third period with some fire, but unfortunately let another goal in, making the final score 6-2.

With the loss, the Gaels' record falls to 4-3-0, and the men will be back in action on Oct. 28th to take on the TMU Bold at the Memorial Centre in Kingston.
