KINGSTON, Ont. (Oct. 21, 2023) - Queen's Men's Rugby closed out their regular season with a big 97-6 win over the McMaster Marauders Saturday afternoon at Nixon Field.
Marcus D'Acre (Mississauga, Ont.) led the way for the Gaels with three tries in the win, while both
Connor Hay (Toronto, Ont.) and
James Hohmann (Vancouver, B.C.) added two tries each.
James Webb (Toronto, Ont.) also had a big performance for Queen's, recording one try and 11 converts for 27 combined points.
Cameron Bubyn (Peterborough, Ont.),
Simon Burns (West Vancouver, B.C.),
Clancy Wood-Hodgins (XXX),
Dennis Gianacopoulos (Vancouver, B.C.),
Ben Greenstein (Vancouver, B.C.), and
Deklan Williamson (Oakville, Ont.) also scored tries for Queen's in the win.
With the win, the Gaels improved their record to 4-2, and finished the regular season third in the OUA standings.
