Lizzie Gibson and Maddy Kushner led the way with four tries each as Queen's Women's Rugby defeated the McMaster 96-3 Saturday in Hamilton, Ont.
Gibson (Caledon, Ont.) extended her lead atop the OUA scoring table with 13 converts in the win as well. With her 46 points against the Marauders, Gibson now has 116 through four games this season.
Also scoring for Queen's were
Carmen Izyk (Blackie, Alta.) with two tries, and
Mya Brubacher (Elmira, Ont.),
Maggie Banks (Coquitlam, B.C.), Maddison Donnelly (Little Britain, Ont.), and
Mika Matsukubo (Ottawa, Ont.) with one try each.
With the win, the No. 1 ranked Gaels improved their record to 4-0 on the season. McMaster's record dropped to 2-2 with the loss.
Queen's will remain on the road next weekend in Guelph, Ont. in a rematch of last year's OUA Championship game against the Guelph Gryphons.
