| By:
KINGSTON, Ont. (Sept. 24, 2022) - Queen's Men's Rugby improved their record to 2-0 on the season with a 26-0 win over the Western Mustangs Saturday at Nixon Field. The Men's Rugby team debuted their new uniforms including a commemorative patch for teammate Liam Geddes, who passed away earlier this year.

Adam Doyle opened up the scoring in the second minute by blocking a Mustangs kick and touching it down in the try zone.

There were three other tries during the game, coming from Thomas Kirkwood, James Macdonald, and Max Brittingham. Mitch White was 3 for 4 on his conversion kicks for six points.

The Gaels have yet to surrender a point this season and have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 83-0 through two games.

Queen's will return to the pitch next weekend, Saturday, Oct. 1 against the McMaster Marauders in Hamilton, Ont.
