Queen's Women's Basketball fell to the Rams 67-58 in the OUA quarterfinals Saturday in Toronto, Ont.
With the loss, the Gaels are out of the OUA Playoffs but will return to the court later this month for the U SPORTS Women's Basketball Final 8, hosted by Queen's at the ARC.
Sophie de Goede (Victoria, B.C.) had a strong game for the Gaels in Toronto, finishing with 18 points and a game-high 18 rebounds.
Laura Donovan (London, Ont.) also finished in double digits in scoring for Queen's, finishing the game with 15 points.
Julia Chadwick (Ottawa, Ont.) recorded 14 rebounds in the loss.
Queen's finished the game shooting 30.4 per cent (14-46) from the floor and 26.1 per cent (6-23) from three-point range, compared to 37 per cent (27-73) from the floor and 25.8 per cent (8-31) from three-point range for the Rams.
The Rams will advance to the OUA East Final where they will take on the Carleton Ravens.
