KINGSTON, Ont. (March 16, 2022) - Men's Hockey fell to the McGill Redbirds 3-2 in overtime in the first round of the OUA Playoffs Wednesday at the Memorial Centre.

The Gaels jumped out to a two-goal lead after Jack Duff (Kingston, Ont.) opened the scoring in the first period on a goal assisted by Liam Dunda (Grimsby, Ont.) and Duncan Campbell (Brandon, Man.) and Jonathan Yantsis (Markham, Ont.) doubled Queen's lead early in the second period.

The Redbirds would score two goals in the third period, including one with two minutes to play and their goalie pulled, to force overtime.

William Poirier scored the winner 13 minutes into overtime to send McGill passed the Gaels and into the second round of the OUA Playoffs.
