Queen's Men's Basketball remained undefeated to start the season, defeating the Laurentian Voyageurs 82-60 Saturday at the ARC. With the win, the Gaels swept their weekend doubleheader with the Voyageurs and improved their record to 5-0 to start the season.
Cole Syllas (Kingston, Ont.) led Queen's with a double-double, recording a game-high 27 points and 13 rebounds.
Quinton Gray (Richmond Hill, Ont.) and
Luka Syllas (Kingston, Ont.) also scored in double digits for the Gaels, recording 13 and 12 points respectively.
Queen's shot 39.7 per cent from the floor (31-78) and 22.7 per cent from three-point range (5-22), while holding Laurentian to 28.2 per cent shooting from the floor (20-71) and 34.5 per cent from three-point range (10-29).
Queen's will head into the winter break tied for first in the OUA East with the Carleton Ravens and Ottawa Gee-Gees.
