Christie Gray was named a U SPORTS Second Team All-Canadian for the 2021 season.
U SPORTS announced their major award winners and All-Canadians Wednesday night during the U SPORTS Women's Soccer Championship at Cape Breton University. The Gaels open the tournament Thursday, Nov. 18 at 9:30 a.m. EST in Quarterfinal 1 against the MacEwan Griffins.
Gray (Vancouver, B.C.) finished the regular season with a game-high 10 goals in 10 games, which was second in the OUA.
"A dynamic forward blessed with pace, 1v1 ambition and a never-ending competitive fire, Christie has again established herself as one of the top forwards in the country," said Queen's Women's Soccer Head Coach
Dave McDowell. "As a co-captain and one of our senior leaders she was integral in helping guide our team through the pandemic and then followed that up with a senior season of the highest quality!"
She was also named an OUA East Division All-Star and the OUA East Division Community Service Award winner earlier this month.
