Queen's Men's Soccer gave up two second half goals in a 2-1 loss to the York Lions in Toronto, Ont. Friday night.
Andrea Gortana (Vaughan, Ont.) opened the scoring for Queen's in the first half, but the Gaels conceded an own goal in the 68
th minute and Omar Marzouk found the back of the net for York in the 79
th minute. The Lions, who are ranked No. 1 in the U SPORTS Top 10 rankings, held on to edge the Gaels by a goal.
With the loss, Queen's record fell to 4-3-2 on the season. The Gaels are currently fourth in the OUA East with 14 points, one point behind the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks for third place. York improved their record to 7-1-1 with the win. The Lions are currently first in the OUA East.

Tyler Gowdy (Ottawa, Ont.) was in net for the Gaels, making six saves in the loss.
Queen's will close out their regular season in the second half of a home-and-home series against York, hosting the Lions on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 3:30 p.m. at Richardson Stadium.
