Queen's Women's Rugby caps undefeated season with big win over McMaster

Queen's Women's Rugby completed an undefeated regular season in the OUA with a 59-10 win over McMaster Saturday at Nixon Field.

With the win, Queen's finish the season first in the OUA Shiels Division with a 4-0 record. McMaster's record falls to 2-2 with the loss.

First-year player Chloe Daniels (Sutton West) opened the scoring for Queen's early on with a try and scored the second try of the game too.
Carmen Izyk (Blackie, Alta.) and Bridget Peros (Oakville, Ont.) added to Queen's lead with first half tries before Sophie de Goede (Victoria, BC) scored and converted her own try for her fifth straight coversions to give the Gaels a 35-0 lead at half time.
The two teams traded tries before Grace Anderson (Montreal, Que.) added one more try in Queen's 49-point win.

The Gaels return to action Saturday, Oct. 30 when they will host the first round of the OUA Playoffs at Nixon Field.
