GAME FLOW
Following a scoreless opening period from both teams including a power play killed off by Queen's, the second saw goals from the Gaels Bryce Desa and Ontario Tech's Brooklyn Duff.
Desa stepped in from the point and one-timed a rebound top-shelf for her first of the season to give Queen's a short-lived lead before Duff was able to tie the game up 1-1.
The Gaels went into the third having 22 shots tallied up and looking to earn a second goal to seal Saturday night's game.
Unfortunately Nicole Esano from Ontario Tech would score the game winner giving them the win over the Gaels, 2-1.
