The CIBC Run for the Cure goes this Sunday morning at St. Lawrence College and many Gaels athletes will be participating with the Queen's men's rugby team once again leading the way along with the Varsity Leadership Council. For more information or to make a donation click here.
Men's HockeyÂ
The reigning champion No.8 Gaels men's hockey team will look to defend the Queen's Cup as they open their 2019-20 season on the road against the Laurentian Voyageurs on Friday night at 7:35 PM and Saturday afternoon at 2:35 PM.Â

The Queen's Gaels rowing team opens their 2019-20 season at the Head of the Trent in Peterborough on October 5.

Cross Country
The Queen's Gaels No.6 men's and No.1 women's cross country will be in action this weekend at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University in Bethlehem Pennsylvania.
Brogan MacDougall won the individual gold medal in last year's meet with a time of 20:21. The Gaels men's team finished first in the Brown Division while the women's team finished 7th in Gold Division.Â
Queen's opened the season with a successful Western Invitational as the women's team finished 2nd overall and the men came in ninth.Â
Kara Blair earned with an overall second-place result with a time in 21:48 in the 6km race and
Makenna Fitzgerald followed closely behind in 22:08.Â
Women's SoccerÂ
The No. 8 Queen's Gaels women's soccer team is in action on the road this weekend against the Trent Excalibur and Ontario Tech Ridgebacks.Â
Christie Gray continued her breakout campaign with three goals and one assist last week against the Nipissing Lakers and Laurentian Voyageurs. Gray has been clutch for the Gaels this season leading the OUA with four game-winning-goals.Â
The Gaels will look forward to a promising contest against Trent on Saturday, as the Excalibur have allowed 18 goals this season, the second highest total in the OUA. T
he Gaels currently sit three points behind Ottawa for the top spot in the OUA East Division.Â
Trent and Ontario Tech, currently sit in sixth and eight place respectively.Â
Men's Soccer
The Queen's Gaels men's soccer team have a busy week as they will challenge the undefeated No. 3 Carleton Ravens on Thursday afternoon, the Trent Excalibur on Saturday and Ontario Tech on Sunday.Â
The Gaels have a tough task ahead of them against the Ravens who've allowed only two goals the lowest mark in the OUA. The Gaels dropped their previous matchup 1-0 against Carleton earlier in the season. Queen's will have a rematch against last-place Trent on Saturday at 3:15 PM and are scheduled to challenge Ontario Tech on Sunday at 3:15 PM
Last weekend, Gaels captain Michael Chang led Queen's to their first six-point weekend against Nipissing and Laurentian. Chang scored the game-winning-goal in the Gaels 1-0 victory over Laurentian and assisted Matthew Reale's 31st minute goal to help Queen's defeat the Nipissing Lakers 2-1.
Queen's has turned their season around with a 3-1-1 record since starting 0-4. The Gaels first win of the season came over Trent on September 15.Â
Men's RugbyÂ
The Queen's Gaels men's rugby team returns to action on the road against the McMaster Marauders on Saturday at 3pm, following a bye week. The Gaels 3-0 record currently sits them first in the OUA East, behind them is the Marauders with a 3-1 record this season. In their 2018 matchup, Queen's defeated the Marauders 83-0 last season.Â

Women's BasketballÂ
The Queen's Gaels women's basketball team will challenge McGill on October 5 at 1pm in a contest that will commemorate the 100th season anniversary of the first-ever women's basketball game between two universities in Canada.

Women's VolleyballÂ
The Gaels women's volleyball team close out their exhibition action with two games against the Waterloo Warriors in the ARC - Main Gym on Oct 4 at 7:00 PM and Oct 5 at 4:00 PM.Â
Men's VolleyballÂ
The Gaels men's volleyball team continue their preseason action in British Columbia in the Blue Team Cup.
Following the Gaels loss against the UBC Thunderbirds on Wednesday, Queen's will face the Mount Royal Cougars on Oct 3 at 9:00 PM, the Brandon Bobcats at 4:00 PM and UBC Okanagan at 9:00 PM on October 4th and will close out the tournament on Saturday at 11:00 PM at Trinity Western University.Â
Women's Hockey
Following two tough losses to the Carleton Ravens and Montréal Carabins last weekend, the Gaels will look to close out preseason on the right note this weekend in Montreal. The Gaels will challenge the Concordia Stingers on Oct. 5 at 3:00 PM and McGill on Oct. 6 at 1:15 PM.Â
