Chang strikes again as Gaels down Lords

KINGSTON, Ont. (August. 22, 2018) – The Gaels men's soccer team picked up another exhibition victory with their 2-1 win over the Durham Lords.

Michael Chang's fourth goal of the preseason helped propel the Gaels to an afternoon win at Richardson Stadium.

GAME FLOW
The Lords opened the scoring early as Ryan Cullen scored in the 12th minute.

It wouldn't take the Gaels long to respond as Michael Chang answered just a minute later to level the game 1-1.

The two teams played an even match throughout with the shots an even 5-5 at the end of the game.

However, the Gaels were able to break the draw as Nick Alie Day scored in the 87th minute to hand Queen's the win.

UP NEXT
The men's team will have one more preseason matchup before the regular season begins. They will host the cross-town St. Lawrence Vikings on Sunday, 3pm at Richardson Stadium.
