HAMILTON (December 1, 2018) - The Queen's Gaels (6-4) used overtime to take down the McMaster Marauders (4-7) 88-80 on Saturday night in OUA men's basketball.
GAME FLOW
It was a back-and-forth affair all night between two evenly matched school's. A
Tanner Graham steal and dunk evened the match up in the early stages and at halftime, it was Queen's holding a slight six-point lead.
The Marauders pulled even into the third frame and after a back-and-forth fourth quarter, a Harry Rang layup tied the game and overtime was needed after a
Tanner Graham block.
In overtime, the Gaels offence continued to soar. After a Range jumper, Tanner nailed another three-pointer to put the Gaels up five.
They didn't look back and were able to take an 88-80 victory.
