St. Catharines, Ont. (November 10, 2018) - The Queen's Gaels (4-2) took five sets but successfully defeated the Brock Badgers (1-5) on Saturday night. The scores of each set were: 17-25, 25-15, 25-12, 22-25 and 15-11.
 
GAME FLOW
The Gaels demonstrated great team effort with 54 total kills, over half of which came from Zac Hutcheson (Kingston, Ont.), Adam Boljkovac (Edmonton, Alta.) and Mitchell Neuert (Toronto, Ont.). After 5 hard fought sets, the Gaels maintained 17 errors compared to the Brock 25, allowing Queen's to play their strong defensive game.
 
Zac Hutcheson (Kingston, Ont.) led the way for Queen's with 18 kills, finding the holes in the Brock defense. Dylan Hunt (Sharon, Ont.) picked up 6 blocks against the Badgers, creating a brick wall tight defence. Zane Grossinger (Richmond Hill, Ont.) lead the Gaels with 48 assists in the game against Brock.
 
The Gaels dominated over the Badgers in the final three sets, securing a reverse sweep with a final set score of 15-11.
