St. Catharines, Ont. (November 10, 2018) - The Queen's Gaels (2-4) suffered a loss in four sets to the Brock Badgers (3-3). The scores of each set were: 23-25, 25-18, 21-25 and 27-29.

GAME FLOW
 In the first set, the Gaels played strong offensively and were able to find 12 kills on the Badgers defence.
Caroline Livingston (Kelowna, B.C.) and
Julia Wiercigroch (Mississauga, Ont.) kept the Gael's momentum up but 5 errors was enough to keep them from taking the set. The Badgers made 11 kills and 4 errors, successfully winning the first set with a score of 23-25.

In the second set, the Gael's capitalized on the 11 errors made by Brock, and finding holes in the Badgers defence with 6 kills. The Gaels limited their errors and played a strong defensive set holding their lead far from reach for the Badgers. The Gaels won the second set with a score of 25-18.

The Badgers found their defensive momentum again in the third set, making it difficult for the Gaels to successfully make kills. Queen's made 12 kills compared to the Brock 10, but it came down to errors and team attacks. The Badgers took the third set with a score of 21-25.

In the fourth and final set, the Gaels played strong defensively but were out played when it came to kills. The Tricolour successfully made 13 kills but struggled to dig the 16 kills made by the Badgers. Queen's and Brock both made 8 errors and the set went into extra points. The fourth set ultimately ended in favour of the Badgers with a score of 27-29.
