MONTREAL (September 17, 2017) - The Queen's Gaels women's hockey team opened up their exhibition schedule with a road trip to Montreal to take on the Concordia Stingers.
The Gaels were able to find the scoresheet just 1:52 into the game as
Hailey Wilson potted a goal with an assist from
Katrina Manoukarakis.
From there the home Stingers scored once in the first to tie the game and three more times in the second.
The game finished with a final of 4-1 for Concordia.
Queen's will return to action Friday at 4 pm in Napanee when they host their annual Invitational Tournament. This year the Ottawa Gee-Gees, McGill Martletts and Western Mustangs will all be in attendance.
