Ottawa, Ont. (September 24, 2016) - The Gaels traveled to Ottawa this weekend for preseason games against the Carleton Ravens and the Laurentian Voyageurs.

The Gaels fell behind in the first period on Mike McNamee's first of two goals for the Ravens. Despite getting a goal from Patrick Downe (New Maryland, N.B.) 20 seconds into a Carleton penalty, Queen's finished the day down 4-1. On the Gaels goal, Frankie Vilardi (Kingston, Ont.) and Luke Edwards (Kingston, Ont.) picked up assists. 

Kevin Bailie (Belleville, Ont.) got the start for Queen's, saving 26 of the shots he faced.
