3-1 decision goes to Guelph in exhibition

GUELPH, Ont. - The Queen's women's soccer team hit the road to continue their 2016 exhibition schedule as they visited the Guelph Gryphons on Thursday evening falling 3-1.

GAME FLOW
Queen's saw their second day of action in the exhibition season as they visited the Guelph Gryphons. The hosts struck first at the 27 minute mark but Queen's was able to draw even just a few minutes later on a goal from Savannah Meyer-Clement (Oshawa, Ont.) at the 33 minute mark.

The Gryphons pulled ahead to close out the opening half then added an insurance marker late in the game to claim a 3-1 win.

UP NEXT
Queen's travels to Toronto this weekend to take part in the annual Old Four tournament. Queen's, Western, McGill and Toronto are the original four Canadian intercollegiate athletic teams and Queen's will open up against McGill at 5:00pm in Toronto Saturday night.
