LONDON, Ont. (November 15, 2015) – The Gaels wrapped up their road weekend with another win, this time taking Western Mustangs (4-2) in three straight sets to go to 6-1 on the season.  

GAME FLOW
The match opened up with back and forth action as the teams traded point with the Gaels getting a slight two point advantage at the technical timeout. The Gaels kept ahead of the Mustangs for the rest of the set, scoring it 25-19.

The tight competition continued in the second as the Mustangs got the first points on the board but the Gaels managed to get out in front to lead once again at the technical timeout 16-14. Queen's was challenged at the set point by the Mustangs who held off the win, but the Gaels wrapped up the 26-24 set off an error by Western.

The Gaels picked up their offense in the third frame, grabbing the lead and getting away from the Mustangs. With a score of 25-18 in the final set, the Gaels easily finished off their 3-0 win against the Mustangs.

Marko Dakic (Mississauga, Ont.) was a key player in the Gaels win with 16 kills while Chris Brunet (Calgary) followed him up with 11 kills of his own. On the Western side of the action, Gavin Taylor led the Mustangs with 14.5 points.
