KINGSTON, Ont. (October 14, 2015) – The women's basketball team will be hosting the Queen's Invitational Tournament this weekend with all games being played in the Main Gym of the ARC. Queen's plays UQAM in their first game of the tournament, with the opening tip off set for 6pm on Friday. This will be the first game against the Citadins since they met at the Carleton Invitational Tournament last year where the Gaels were defeated 74-65.
In their second game of the tournament the Gaels will face Memorial with the game starting at 6pm on Saturday This will be the first game against the Seahawks since they met at the Carleton Invitational Tournament last year where the Gaels defeated Memorial 71-65.
The final game of the tournament for the Gaels will be against the Carleton Ravens on Sunday afternoon at 2pm. Queen's played Carleton twice last season, once at the Carleton Invitational Tournament where the Gaels lost 66-61 to the Ravens and the second meeting was in the regular season where Queen's won 83-51.
