Two late goals sink Queen's in exhibition

KINGSTON, Ont. (August 27, 2014) - The Queen's women's soccer team came within only a few minutes of a 0-0 draw before the Concordia Stingers struck with two late goals to steal an exhibition win 2-0 at Richardson Stadium.

After nearly finishing off what looked like it was going to be a 0-0 draw between the Gaels and Stingers, Concordia came through with goals in the 86th and 88th minutes to earn themselves a victory over Queen's.

The Gaels finished with just one shot in the loss while Concordia had three converting on both in the second half.

Queen's will look to start off their season on a winning note as they visit the RMC Paladins this Sunday to begin their OUA campaign.
