The Gaels are in action on numerous fronts this week. Here's a rundown of when and where to catch your Gaels in action, including a playoff game for women's hockey at the Memorial Centre on Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday night if necessary.
Women's Hockey: The No. 9 women's hockey team begins their playoff journey at 7:30pm on Thursday at Windsor, with the best of three series coming to Kingston on Saturday for a 7:30pm matchup at the Memorial Centre. If needed, the third a deciding game will be played on Sunday at 7:30pm. In the two meetings between these teams during the regular season, Queen's picked up two wins, outscoring Windsor 9-5. Queen's also beat Windsor in last year's first round playoff matchup, taking the series 2-1 after losing the first game on the road. The Gaels enter the playoffs fourth in the OUA, just six points back of first-place Guelph and six points ahead of fifth-place Windsor. Morgan McHaffie (Guelph, Ont.) led the Gaels in scoring through the regular season with 31 points in 24 games, finishing fifth in scoring in the OUA. |

Men's Volleyball: Queen's grabbed the final playoff spot in men's volleyball, and the Gaels commence their playoff run at No. 9 Waterloo on Saturday at 7pm. Finishing sixth in the OUA, the Gaels are up against a Waterloo squad that finished third in the OUA. Mike Tomlinson (Stratford, Ont.) led the OUA in points per set through the regular season with 4.8, good enough for third in the CIS. |

As the Gaels' leader on offense, Tomlinson will the player to watch for Queen's. Erich Woolley will try to counter Tomlinson's offense, as the leading digger for Waterloo and in the CIS, with 227 digs this season. With a win, Queen's earns a spot at the OUA Final Four and would play No. 1 McMaster on Friday, February 21st, at 8pm.

Men's Hockey: The men's hockey team concludes their regular season play with a trip to Trois Rivieres and a chance to set a new franchise record for wins in a season against the UQTR Patriotes. With a playoff spot already locked up, the Gaels have a possibility of moving up the standings, with UQTR sitting a game and half ahead of Queen's in third. UQTR and Queen's starting goalies are first and second, respectively, in save-percentage in the CIS. The goalie showdown will be between the Gaels'
Kevin Bailie (Belleville, Ont.) and the Patriotes' Marc-Antoine Gelinas.

Women's Basketball: Queen's will wrap up their women's basketball regular season at Toronto on Friday and Ryerson on Saturday. Both games get underway at 6pm. With wins over Ottawa and Carleton last weekend, the Gaels pulled into first place in the OUA East, on the cusp of a CIS ranking. When Toronto and Ryerson came to Kingston in January, Queen's lost to both opponents. With a pair of wins this weekend, the Gaels clinch first place in the OUA East. Â The Gaels will host a playoff game on Saturday, February 22
nd, at the ARC, opponent and time to be determined.

Men's Basketball: The men's basketball team closes out the regular season this weekend with a pair of road games against Toronto on Friday and No. 8 Ryerson on Saturday, both at 8pm. Queen's has solidified the final playoff spot, but could jump ahead of York with some help if they win both games this weekend. The Gaels lost their previous meeting with Ryerson, but beat Toronto when they came to the ARC. Queen's will play their first playoff game on the road on Wednesday, February 19
th, with the time and opponent to be determined.

Figure Skating: OUA Figure Skating Championship is being hosted at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto on February 13-14th.

Curling: The OUA Curling Championships will be hosted at the Guelph Curling Club from February 13
th-17
th. The Queen's men play Guelph and Brock on the 13th, UOIT and Lakehead on the 14
th, Waterloo on the 15
