KINGSTON, Ont. (September 4, 2013) - The No. 2 Gaels (2-0) downed the Carleton Ravens (2-1) 1-0 on West Campus with a goal from rookie striker
Tara Bartram (Vancouver) on their only shot of the game.

The Ravens dominated possession through 45 minutes on Wednesday, but the Gaels keeper
Madison Tyrell (White Rock, B.C.) stopped all four of Carleton's first-half shots.

Bartram broke the deadlock in the 75
th minute, finding the back of the net from six yards out on a Gaels corner. Tyrell held out in the second half, making three more saves for the clean sheet.

Scoring the Gaels only goal against RMC last week, Bartram has both of the Queen's goals so far this season.

The 2-0 Gaels are on the road this weekend, playing the no. 4 Ottawa Gee-Gees Saturday at 6pm and the 0-2 Trent Excalibur Sunday at 1pm.
