WATERLOO, Ont. (September 15, 2013) -
Adam McQueen (Canmore, B.C.) led the Queen's Gaels to a 62-0 victory over the Waterloo Warriors in OUA men's rugby action, Sunday. McQueen scored a try and six conversions as he finished with 17 points.
Michael Ulozas (Oakville, Ont.) opened the scoring with a try, giving the Gaels an early 5-0 lead. Brenden Sloan (Peterborough, Ont.) scored the second try for Queen's, with McQueen kicking the successful conversion.
David Worsley (Vancouver, B.C.) and
Adam McQueen added two more tries for the Gaels, and McQueen another conversion,
Tommy Kirkham (Vancouver, B.C.) closed out the first half with a try and McQueen kicking the conversion, giving the Gaels 31-0 lead at the half.
The second half saw Waterloo trying to break the Gaels back lines, however they not able to get past the Gaels defense. Queen's continued to dominate the second half. Kirkham put up another try for the Gaels along with
Kainoa Lloyd and
Graham Turner. McQueen followed each of these tries with successful conversions. Sloan contributed his second try to the Gaels scoreboard and
Andrew Carr (King City, Ont.) also scored a try to bring the Gaels to 62-0 shutout over the Waterloo Warriors.
 The Gaels have yet to allow any points to an opponent this season and outscoring all opponents 110-0.
The Gaels return to action next Saturday where they play RMC.
