SUDBURY, Ont. (September 14, 2013) - The No. 8-ranked Gaels (1-1-1) could not close out the Voyageurs (2-1-1) today as they leave Sudbury tying Laurentian 1-1.

The game was off to a slow start with neither Laurentian or Queen's scoring in the first half of soccer action.

The Voyageurs put the first points on the board with a goal from Joel Levac in the sixty-sixth minute of play. The lead didn't hold for long as
Tommy Hong (Oakville, Ont.) of the Gaels scored an equalizer with nine minutes left. The game then finished with the final score of 1-1.
Dylan Maxwell (Vancouver) stopped six shots in the draw for the Gaels.

The Gaels are now 1-1-1 going into their game against Nippissing University (1-3-0) tomorrow afternoon, Sunday September 15.
