BOX SCORE KINGSTON, Ont. (November 23, 2013) The Queen's Gaels (8-0-5) once again proved their worth against a top team in the CIS beating the No. 7 Windsor Lancers (9-4-0) 4-1, their second win over the Lancers this weekend.

The Gaels improved to 8-0-5 and have yet to lose in regulation on the season. Queen's leads the OUA East division and have the most points in the entire OUA with 21.

Jordan Soquila (Maple Ridge, B.C.) got things started for Queen's in the first period with his fourth goal of the season coming at the 7:44 mark. Just over three minutes later the Lancers used their power play to get their first goal of the weekend as Spencer Pommells beat Gaels starting netminder Kevin Bailie (Belleville, Ont.).

In the second the Gaels took over, scoring three times to take a commanding 4-1 lead. After Taylor Clements (Toronto) put the Gaels up 2-1, Patrick McGillis (Calgary) added a power play goal to put the Gaels up two goals. Braeden Corbeth (Oakville, Ont.) then added another just before the period ended and Queen's headed to the locker room up three scores on Windsor.

In the third Bailie shut the door once again on the Lancers, stopping all eight shots in the third. For the game the Belleville native made 32 saves for the win.

Clements and Corbeth each had two point nights for the Gaels in the win.

Next up for Queen's they will host the Laurentian Voyageurs on Friday night at 7:30pm at the Memorial Centre in Kingston.
