BOX SCORE WATERLOO, Ont. (November 15, 2013) - Queen's men's basketball (3-2) fell to the Laurier Golden Hawks (3-2) 92-75 on Friday night in Waterloo.

The Golden Hawks were relentless and consistent on the offensive end of the court shooting 52% from the floor for the game. The Gaels were unable to contain Laurier's Max Allen, who went off for 29 point in the contest, and Will Coulthard who added 20 of his own.

After the first quarter Queen's trailed by only a point, 22-21. The second quarter is where they fell apart as Laurier outscored the Gaels 19-9 and caused nine Queen's turnovers. Despite a more consistent second half, the Gaels were still unable to contain Laurier's offense and struggled with turnovers.

Nikola Misljencevic (Ottawa) was the most consistent player on the court for Queen's using his big presence inside, attacking the glass and getting to the line. He finished the game with a team high 18 points.
Sukhpreet Singh (Toronto) also added a much needed spark on both ends of the court for Queen's as he recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

The men are back in action on Saturday against the Waterloo Warriors (0-4) at 8pm.
