BOX SCORE KINGSTON, Ont. (November 10, 2013) - The No. 3 Queen's Gaels downed the Ryerson Rams 7-1 on Sunday afternoon as
Shawna Griffin (Redwood Meadows, Alta.) extended her goal scoring streak to five games and finished with five points in the game.
Griffin now has goals in each of her last five games and has also totalled 12 points during that same span. She finished with two goals and three helpers this afternoon.
Courtenay Jacklin (Regina) scored twice and added an assist with her first goal standing up as the game winner.
The Gaels got out to a commanding lead in the later half of the first period scoring four times then adding two more in the second before the Rams were finally able to solve Gaels starting netminder

Queen's added one more for good measure in the third period to finish with the 7-1 win.
The Gaels now improve to 8-0-3 on the season and sit in first place in the OUA.
