BOX SCORE SUDBURY, Ont. (October 26, 2013) - The Queen's Gaels improved to 3-0-2 as they beat the Laurentian Voyageurs 6-3 in OUA hockey action on Saturday night.

Taylor Clements (Toronto) had an impressive night for the Gaels scoring four times, including three straight in the third period. Braeden Corbeth (Oakville, Ont.) added three assists for the Gaels while Laurentian was led by Nick Esposto who had a goal and a helper.

The Gaels scored two quick ones to jump out in front over the Voyageurs early. Kelly Jackson (Toronto) scored a power play marker only 2:56 into the first period and Queen's went ahead two goals as Clements notched his first less than two minutes later.

Laurentian took control next scoring once at the tail end of the second period and again to start the third period. Esposto then added a power play marker and the Gaels trailed 3-2. The Gaels made a goaltender change with Kevin Bailie (Belleville, Ont.) relieving Chris Clarke (Fall River, N.S.) which seemed to spark the team. Clements then took over for Queen's scoring three straight times with his fourth tally of the night being an empty netter to give the Gaels the win.

The Gaels are back in action next weekend when they travel to Ottawa to take on the Gee-Gees Friday night.
