TORONTO (October 13, 2013)- Rachel Radu's (Ottawa) sixth goal of the season was the game-winner in a 2-1 win against the Ryerson Rams on Sunday afternoon in Toronto.
 
The Gaels fell behind in the 9^th minute, when Karena Evans scored to put the Rams ahead early.
 
Alexis McKinty (Burlington, Ont.) responded for the Gaels before halftime, beating Ryerson's keeper Rebecca Petrocelli to tie the game 1-1. The Gaels took the lead in the 55^th minute when Radu evaded the Rams defenders and finished a cross into the back of the net.
 
Gaels keeper Michaila Frawley (Victoria, B.C.) stopped four of five shots. Petrocelli made eight saves in the loss for the Rams.
 
The Gaels (7-2-5) close out the regular season with a pair of home games against the Laurentian Lady Vees (5-3-6) on Saturday and the Nipissing Lakers (2-7-4) on Sunday. Both games get underway at noon on West Campus Field.
