The Rams tied the game in the 29th minute, as Armin Tankovic scored a goal that took a bounce off a Gaels defender and went over goalkeeper
Dylan Maxwell's head.
“We started off well, and had a strong game defensively,” said Chris Gencarelli, the Gaels' head coach. “Overall, I'm pleased with our performance, but we're looking for more tomorrow against Toronto.”
The Gaels (2-0-0) return to action on Sunday, as they visit the Toronto Varsity Blues. Kickoff is set for 3:15 p.m.
