KINGSTON, Ont. -
David Worsley's (Vancouver, B.C.) 18 points led the Queen's Gaels to a 33-12 win over the McMaster Marauders in OUA men's rugby action tonight in Hamilton. The fullback scored one try, kicked three penalties and added a pair of conversions as the Gaels cruised to the season-opening victory.
The Gaels, who also led 15-0 at halftime, also got tries from
Patrick Richardson, Dan Moor and
Tim Richardson. Andrew Ferguson (try, conversion) and Christopher Gordon (try) replied for the Marauders.
The Gaels (1-0) return to action on Sunday, as they visit the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks. Kickoff at University Stadium is set for 1 p.m.
