Gaels men's soccer wins 3-1 at RMC to move back into first place

KINGSTON, Ont. - The No. 5-ranked Queen's Gaels men's soccer team won 3-1 over local rivals Royal Military College on Saturday,  moving them back into first place in the OUA East Division.

The Queen's Gaels had a 2-0 lead by halftime thanks to Patrick Zanetti's goal in the 13th minute, and Nathan Klemencic with the second in the 40th. 

Daniel Cruz scored the lone goal for RMC in the 61st minute, and with a close 2-1 score intensity stayed high well until the last minute.  The game finished off with a yellow card in the ninety-first minute and a third goal for Queen's by Eric Koskins in the ninety-second minute.

Queen's took 13 shots on net, to RMC's eight.  The Gaels (7-0-1) are first in the OUA East division with 22 points.  The Gaels return to action on Saturday as they face the University of Toronto. Kickoff is set for at 3:15 at Queen's West Campus Field.
