KINGSTON, Ont. - The No. 4-ranked Queen's Gaels put four balls past the home Trent Excalibur en route to their third win of the young season in OUA women's soccer action at Justin Chiu Stadium in Peterborough, Ont. on Saturday afternoon.
All four goals came in the second half for the defending national champions.
Jessie De Boer (North Vancouver, B.C.) got the Gaels on the board eight minutes into the second period. 12 minutes later,
Jackie Tessier (Winnipeg, Man.) made it a two-goal lead for the visiting team. The Gaels rounded out the scoring with two more insurance goals: one by Laura Callendar (Nepean, Ont.)
in the 75th-minute and the other through a pass that scrambled across the box into the stride of
Kayla Crnic (Milton, Ont.) for the one-time strike in the 90th minute to seal the victory over the home team.

Sabrina Carew (Thunder Bay, Ont.) grabbed the shutout in the win and the Gaels now improve to a 3-1-1 record. They return to action on Sunday as they travel back home to play the Carleton Ravens (2-2-1). Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at the West Campus Field.
