As the Gaels gear up for their OUA playoff final four on Friday and Saturday, we get ready for the CIS Men's Volleyball Championships which will be hosted at the ARC from March 2-4, 2012.

Brenda Willis is set to complete her 25th season at the helm of the men's volleyball program here at Queen's University, given her history and accomplishments in the sport it is no surprise that the Gaels are off to another title run.
Willis is a five-time OUA Coach of the Year and OUA 3M Coaching Award winner. Her career coaching record at Queen's includes 284 wins against 133 loses, including 271 and 112 in OUA league competition along with five OUA championships coming in 99-00, 01-02, 05-06, 06-07 and finally two seasons ago in 09-10.
In the summer of 2009, Willis served as Head Coach of the National Maccabia Men's Volleyball Team, earning bronze medal for Canada, the first men's volleyball medal Canada had ever won in these games. In 1993, she led Team Ontario to a gold medal finish at the Canada Games.
Willis just completed a 10 year stint as President of the Ontario Volleyball Association, and remains an active Learning Facilitator for levels One through three. In 2007, she was the honoured recipient of the Rolf Lund Jule Nisse Award, presented by the Ontario Sport Alliance and the Ministry of Health Promotion to an individual who has demonstrated a life-time commitment to Playground to Podium Sport.
In addition to her coaching duties, Willis also teaches in the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies and is the mother of two grown children.
Willis and the Gaels are travelling to London, Ontario this weekend where they will take part in the OUA final four as they look to win yet another OUA championship before hosting the 2012 CIS Championships March 2-4.
